Here's an outstanding young gelding!  He was started as a two year old at Ken McNabb's Natural Horsemanship Clinic in Wyoming, and ridden here at the ranch the following summer.  He recently came home from sixty days with our trainer and he's ready to start a new career. He's good looking, has a fantastic pedigree, is riding great, and has the disposition to be an exceptional individual. Look through his pedigree..........every horse in it is either a World Champion, race winner or a producer of race winners, so the speed is there, and we know he has the mind and ability.   He's safe and sane to be around, has no bad habits that I'm aware of, ties, hauls, shoes, trims etc. with no problems.  He side passes, backs, has a good stop, responds to leg pressure nicely, picks up his leads, loads, hauls.  UTD on everything!  If you're looking for a great prospect for the new season......here he is. He's ready for you to get on him and go on with his training.  Sold, thank you Randy and Laura Gray.  Big Shot will be competing north of the border in the future.

This big and beautifully made gorgeous gelding is just about as nice as he can be..a very bright sorrel with the lightest flaxen mane and tail is only part of the picture....first of all, he's going to mature well over 16 hands, secondly, he has a pedigree stacked with winners, and, last, but not least, he's training just the way we thought he would.  His flashy color and common sense disposition are certainly an added incentive to look him over.  Up close in his family you'll find World Champions, leading dams and sires, APHA World Show winning sires and more!  Currently at the trainers, he's being started over small jumps and prepared for his career.  He has a naturally correct headset, a flat kneed way of moving, and the desire to do things right.  He's an easy keeper as the pictures below portray.....that's him in his everyday condition out on dry summer pasture.   His sire, Big Country, a race winner himself, is siring good minded athletic performance horses.  The grandsire, Star Look, was a multiple World Champion runner whose career was cut short by his untimely death as a very young horse.  Of course, Easy Jet, Easy Country Music and Indian Music helped to write racing history.  Indians Image and Cherokee Indian are legendary sires of rope, race, and winning performance individuals.......and Spotted Bar Bull graces the pedigrees of many many speed and performance Quarter Horses as well.  This young gelding is training perfectly,,,,no buck, no bad behavior....just a good work ethic and willing performance ability bred right into this guy!

UPDATE: He's started over low jumps and he loves it!!!,,,,,video available.

Tiny has been sold and he's going to Canada!!  Thank you Randy and Laura Gray!

This is the first foal out of a very tall (16 + hands), well muscled, beautiful moving, quiet and kind TB dam.  He’s a pretty mover, flat kneed, smart and  especially enjoys “people attention.”   He’s absolutely correct with a long slim neck, big hip, gorgeous tiny head with big soft eyes.   Take a look through his pedigree……it’s filled with winning performance/race  horses and we’re confident that Skeeter’s capable of following the family tradition.  Just home from thirty days of light riding, he's nicely started......kind, gentle, and a nice nice athlete.  He's quick, has great ground manners, will walk, trot, canter in circles both directions, backs, load, haul, tie and all the rest of the things you'd like a young horse to do well.  He represents winning bloodlines and World Champions in both speedbred horses and cowbreds.....and exhibits the best qualities of both.  This is a nice colt!

Skeeter has been sold and he'll be going to Canada as well.  Thank you Randy and Laura Gray!

This filly is a half sib to Headley’s good 1-D horse, Mz. Simply Flashy, who won the Dixie Nationals 2005, placed third at the 2005 APHA World Show in Junior Barrels, and continued her winning ways in 2006, placing in the top five in multiple events at the APHA World Show!

‘Zippin’ is riding very nicely having spent the summer in training.  She’s kind, gentle and intelligent, has beautiful gaits, changes leads perfectly, & has perfect ground manners.

This good looking daughter of Big Country had a foaling incident in 2006--an assisted delivery of a backwards deceased foal--so I decided not to breed her again and returned her to training.  I have no reason to believe that she's not breeding sound, but I won't guarantee that she is.  She's been back to the trainer (she was ridden as a two and three year old here on the ranch), and spent this spring on a ranch being ridden for calving checks......she's an energetic, good minded, fun-to-ride horse, not for a beginner or a child, but for someone who really enjoys riding a top equine athlete.  She's ambitious, honest and a hard working horse.......the kind you can ride all day if that's what you need to do!  She's a perfect ranch horse for someone with a lot of country to cover......she's not hugely tall,,,,,,stands about 14.3, but she'll carry what's asked of her.  She's heavily muscled, sure footed, and will watch a cow. This is a nice young mare, a good ride,,,,,,but I don't need any more ranch horses, so she's being offered for sale.  In addition to being good at general ranch work, I think she'd make a super barrel or pole horse......she's very quick and smart.  No bad habits or vices......UTD on everything and ready to go to a new home.  Sharp looking, friendly, athletic---she needs a job!

SOLD. Thank you to Jackie Knudson & her parents, North Dakota.

This absolutely stunning bay toby gelding is being offered for sale as a project horse for an experienced rider.  Bred the best, great looking, kind and sweet, he had a bumpy start, and, even though he's been back to the trainer for sixty plus days and is riding well enough that he's been used to pony colts, I want him to go to an experienced horse person.  Take a look at the pedigree.......it's a no-holes, good one filled with tons of athletic ability and AAA speed, Champions, and horses whose names are household words to horse-people.  Please contact me for more information if you're interested in this beautiful gelding.  His price is very negotiable to the right home........  He's sound, loads and hauls well, trims, shoes, is UTD on everything.  He's not a bucker,,,,,,just has some trust issues with people.....quiet and consistent handling is the key to getting along with him.  He's not mean, doesn't bite, kick, strike, rear or do any of the kinds of things that make a horse scary.  He's just very very quick to respond to anything new in his environment until he becomes accustomed to it.  He's a great project for someone with above average riding skills!  And I do believe he'll reward your efforts by being an excellent horse.

Call or email for a price and/or more info on this pretty gelding. I would be really pleased to send him to someone who will do good things with him! He deserves that much.

SOLD! Thank you to Samantha Pringle from Washington!
