Windcountry Wahoo

Windcountry Wahoo (Big Country x Windsprint TB) won the Open Pole Bending at the 5 State Futurity in SD, September 2009! He is owned, trained, and ridden by Sue Kay Gorman of South Dakota.

Rock Climb's first foal to go to the track had an impressive win at Canterbury Park on May 23rd. Congratulations to DOWNERBYTHEMEADOW and her connections.

Call Her Lady Bud, the first foal out of one of our mares, Buds Hi Flyin Lady AQHA, finished 3rd in the 1-D at the Lance Graves Pro Classic Sale Futurity. See her half brothers on the for sale page!

We are very excited to have Flashy Bugs standing at our ranch. Flashy was born here and purchased by William Taylor from Alabama. Along with Flashy, William also purchased a Flashy daughter, Mz. Simply Flashy, who has gone on to be a top competitor in barrel racing, placing 3rd. at the APHA World Show in 2005, winning the Dixie Nationals in 2005, placing in the top five in multiple events at the APHA World Show in 2006, and qualifying for the NBHA Finals in 2006. She is currently owned and campaigned by the Headley's of Mississippi. Flashy Bugs is a winning barrel competitor himself as well as being the sire of winning barrel horses!

Add to that, his picture perfect good looks, excellent conformation, speed, a great mind, size (he's just a fraction over 16 hands) and wonderfully calm disposition, and you have THE winning combination. His foals are gorgeous and good minded individuals.

Flashy Bugs foals born in North Dakota are just entering training and we're hearing good things about them.  A select group of started prospects will be for sale on the website in 2010.  Among them are foals out of daughters of Strawflyin Buds, Proper Reality TB, Cherokee Treasured, Big Country, Mia Cash Too, and Indians Image. Flashy will be paid into the Can Am Futurity in 2010.
